Cascade of poems and Rivulets of fiction

A doe eyed bud, Prancing with innocent smile, Dreamt She of conquering world, With her prowess of act. Proved her worth amongst many, Glittered She with bling and shine, In the coloured screen day and night, Her laughter evoked joy, Her cries evoked pain, Her tears evoked anger, It was 'action' and 'cut' all the way, Paradise of fame and accolade. Cupid struck and found love, Heaven She felt was her life, Whispered 'Betrayal' in her ears, 'Ditched and ditched will you be in love', With anger She yelled at him, Fell in love not once but twice and thrice, It was 'Betrayal' all the way. Then She fell prey to the noose! Unaware, Life is precious, And there is always a tact beyond love, To defeat 'Betrayal' for his cunning vile.

Café, met you in my teens, A colourful beetle you were, Blue neon was the sticky sap, Bunch of us were the suckers, Digging into chilli cheese toasts, Hot brownie inundated with chocolate, Frothing the lips with cappuccino, A few rings of smoke, Interspersed with spurts of laughter, Bonhomie at its best. Café, The same old beetle after many years, Teeming with teens, Giggles and frills, Few puffs and a bite of chilli; Suddenly, Bullets splinter the glass haywire, Bare knives slit throats, I become still, Café, no more beetle you are, But an ugly blackish grey butcher with tentacles; the octopus.

Candles lit, Choir begin, Tresses flowing, Kneeling, Folded hands, Submission, In reverence. Tears flow, Replete with pain, Lost her beloved, In a war of revenge, Sudden cry; Loud in anguish, Penetrating the walls. Wind trembles, 'You whiz past without care. Have you seen the scars, the walls bear? With each cry, the edifice slide in the sands of time.' The torrential rain assuage the pain. Scars are in oblivion, The walls remain erect devoid of stains, Whitewashed as bright as day.
